Cacti is a graphing tool similar to MRTG. Cacti is written in PHP allowing the user / operator to manage it over a web portal instead of having to modify config files through the command line like MRTG.

Cacti provides a easy method to graph SNMP data and whatever various other data that can be gathered into an RRD.

Numerous mods have been written for Cacti to allow for extensibility including monitoring mods, etc.
